Windows Developer - Telephony Software Solutions
Stratford, CT
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Design, develop, enhance and maintain a suite of Windows and Web based contact center products. Provide technical specifications and documentation, unit and system testing and integration. Work with engineering members, testers, customer support, documentation and training groups on Windows and Web based products implemented in releases.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in software development and systems integration for both new and existing products.
- Able to work both as individual contributor and team member.
- Three to five years of development and platform integration experience with C#, .NET framework, C++, COM, HTML, XML, Java, SQL.
- Experience developing multi-processing and multi-threaded applications.
- Experience in full product life cycle development.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Experience with Windows 2000, 2003 and XP.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with real-time software and solutions.
- Experience with user interface development.
- Experience with contact center products and industry.
- Experience developing Windows Services.
- Experience with Windows system/platform administration, installation and integration.
- Experience with network administration.
- Proven track record implementing software solutions.
- Experience with DBA, data modeling and database construction using MS SQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with JavaScript, IIS, VB.NET, VB Script, Crystal Reports.
